Mission Statement
"It is the mission and purpose of the Downieville Improvement Group to address, coordinate and provide for the enhancement of Downieville’s economic and cultural vitality. We plan to achieve these goals by organizing public events and directing the proceeds toward community improvements. This would include projects that promote business development and other activities that foster economic growth and development of Downieville. Our mission is to utilize our funds to assist local government and help reduce the costs of improvement projects. By working together to improve our town, Downieville will continue to be a thriving and welcoming community, bringing commerce and visitors to enjoy our area."
